San Joaquin Valley Homes Makes Top 100 Private Homebuilders List Based on Closings in 2022

Local Home Builder Stands Out Against Its Competition

VISALIA, Calif. – Home Builder Executive magazine has ranked San Joaquin Valley Homes (SJV Homes) among the Top 100 Builders in the nation based on the number of closings in 2022. The company ranked #60 among private builders in February and #84 among both public and private builders in March.

Despite the cooling housing market last year, SJV Homes closed 620 new homes, a 38% increase over the previous year. While some builders operate across the country, SJV Homes easily made the top 100 list by building homes in its own backyard – the Central Valley of California.

“It’s an honor to be recognized in this annual ranking among our peers in the building industry,” said Joe Leal, co-founder of SJV Homes. “This says multitudes about the strength of our organization, the quality of our homes and the support of our homebuyers in neighborhoods throughout the Valley.”

SJV Homes currently has 14 new communities open for sale in the cities of Delano, Dinuba, Hanford, Kingsburg, Reedley, Tulare and Visalia. It plans to open a new neighborhood and model complex for Maplewood in Visalia and three new models for the existing Bonterra in Hanford. The local builder expects to close its 3,500th home in early April.

SJV Homes, in partnership with Presidio Residential Capital, a San Diego-based real estate development management company, has now developed more than 35 joint venture projects in California’s Central Valley.
