San Joaquin Valley Homes Ranks Among Top 100 Active Homebuilders in the Country

Sales Remain Strong Despite Higher Mortgage Rates
VISALIA, Calif. – May 1, 2025 – San Joaquin Valley Homes (SJV Homes) has been recognized as one of the nation’s busiest homebuilders, ranking No. 97 on the prestigious Builder 100 List with 552 homes closed and annual revenue of $245 million in 2024.
This is the seventh year that Central Valley homebuilder San Joaquin Valley Homes has made the Builder magazine list, which is primarily dominated by large private and public builders.
“We are extremely proud of our ongoing success,” said Joe Leal, co-founder for Visalia-based San Joaquin Valley Homes. "It’s a reflection of our dedicated team of employees and amazing subcontractors who are always striving for excellence.”
Sales stayed strong across the builder's 12 new home communities in 2024, showing steady buyer demand even with higher mortgage rates and changing economic conditions.
“When it comes to choosing a builder, homebuyers naturally favor local expertise, and we've been proudly serving the Central Valley for generations." We send our sincerest appreciation to the entire SJV Homes team, and we are extremely grateful to all our homeowners and the communities we serve,” said Leal.
Each year, Builder magazine releases its ranking of the top 100 homebuilding companies in the United States based on how many homes were closed in the previous year.
