VISALIA, Calif. – San Joaquin Valley Homes (SJV Homes) had another strong year in 2016 with 305 homes sold. SJV Homes constructed and closed escrow on 297 homes in 2016 —a 25 percent increase over the 237 homes it closed in 2015. The company also opened three projects in 2016.

In 2016, SJV Homes opened three projects: Sedona, Viscaya and Pine River Estates. Back in March of 2016, SJV Homes started selling the first of 53 single-family homes at Sedona, which is located in the highly desirable East Tulare and the first phase is nearly sold out. Viscaya’s 87 single-family homes in Dinuba, Calif., which celebrated a grand opening in November 2016, are in high demand as sales have been extremely strong. In December 2016, model homes opened at Pine River Estates, a 37-acre community offering 144 single-family homes located on Virmargo Street between St. John’s Parkway and Houston Avenue in Visalia.

VISALIA, Calif. – San Joaquin Valley Homes (SJV Homes) had another successful year in 2017, selling 349 homes and opening three new communities. The locally based homebuilder, which celebrated its fourth year in business last July, recently achieved the milestone of closing on its 1,000th home.
SJV Homes was the second busiest homebuilder in the entire Valley last year, with more building permits pulled than its competitors except Lennar. Most of these homes were constructed in Tulare County, where SJV Homes has long been the dominant builder. In 2017, the company also topped the list in King County with permits issued for 70 new single-family homes, according to data provided by the Construction Monitor, which tracks public building records nationwide.
Nora Garcia, Celedonio Jimenez and their four children bought the 1,000th home, which was also the last to close in 2017. SJVH, a Visalia-based homebuilder, presented the family with a $1,000 check, a gas barbecue, a $200 Lowe's gift card, a $200 Quality Meat gift certificate and a backyard fire pit donated by Lowes.

San Joaquin Valley Homes and Presidio Residential Capital plan to build a new community called Bella Vista – a 142-home neighborhood located on 41 acres in Northern Hanford, the companies say.
The retail value of this project is approximately $35 million.
“Hanford is experiencing a historically low inventory of existing homes on the market, and demand for new houses is strong,” says Danny Garcia, vice president of sales at SJV Homes. “The wide range of floor plans will appeal to everyone from move-up buyers and growing families to people who are looking to downsize. We expect these homes to sell quickly once they go on the market.”
